I will overwhelm 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Ex twice world title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Mentality

"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Still, the novice is still one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.

"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.

Size Difference

As the two fighters participated in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually happening.
